Cricket fans team up to support CPRE London at Oval Hundred game

Surrey County cricket club chose CPRE London as a charity partner at its first Hundred game of the season in late July.

Men’s and women’s teams competed, with the Oval Invincibles winning the day over rivals Birmingham Phoenix.

With hundreds of fans attending, CPRE London will receive a share of charity cup receipts, paid for every cup put into recycling bins on the day.

We also had a stand in the arena concourse providing the opportunity to raise awareness of our work.

Our contribution will help us campaign to protect and expand green spaces, including parks and sports fields.
